This is the perfect engine for work and play. It’s also the perfect combination of reliability and performance.
Built with ARP Head studs and O-ringed cylinder heads. O-ringed heads allow for a better head-to-block combustion seal helping to avoid the problem of blown head gaskets. Blown head gaskets can occur under high boost operation when towing heavy loads and on high mileage engines for no apparent reason at all.

What makes this great for daily driving also makes it exceptional for towing. It’s the Asheville Engine Stage 2 camshaft. Manufactured to our own specifications, our Stage 2 cam provides a smoother transition and less stress for the valves, spools the turbo quicker, lowers the EGT’s, improves fuel efficiency, and adds 45 to 50 additional Horsepower. Many customers report from 0ne to three additional miles per gallon with our stage 2 camshaft.
