6.0 Powerstroke “COMPETITOR”  This engine is built and proven to handle over 1,400+ HP

The 6.0 Powerstroke COMPETITOR from Asheville Engine, Inc. is built for competition.  Many of our customers have taken the top awards all over the U.S. in dyno competitions, pulled sleds over 300 feet, and have competed regularly for many years in diesel drag racing competitions.

Description: 

Engine block and cylinder heads have been magnafluxed and pressure tested, then all of the proper machining has been done. The stock Crankshaft has been checked for cracks and is then, measured and polished.
Cylinder heads have new valve guides, new valve seals and all new valve springs. They also have O-rings added to help prevent head gasket failure, and a special competition valve job to increase airflow through the cylinder heads.
The 6.0 Powerstroke COMPETITOR includes a Stage 2 camshaft. – An Asheville Engine Stage 2 camshaft is manufactured to our own specifications. It provides a smoother transition and less stress for the valves, spools the turbo quicker, lowers the EGT’s, improves fuel efficiency, and adds 45 to 50 additional Horsepower.
