Asheville Engine, Inc. has a well known reputation for building reliable, long lasting Ford Powerstroke diesel engines. In 2023, we relocated to another building that has twice the amount of room for both inventory and for production. Did you know that you can also get Duramax 6.6L diesel engines from us?

Although our shop has always built Duramax 6.6L diesel engines for local diesel shops, At the request of diesel shops all over the country who have been installing our Powerstroke engines for years, Asheville Engine has started remanufacturing Duramax long blocks and promoting them for sale nationwide.

We build Duramax engines right!

Every Duramax 6.6L diesel engine that we build gets keyways added to the crank to prevent the gears from spinning. We also put the much stronger LB7 pistons in every LBZ, LMM, and LML long block. Finally, we use ARP main bolts, ARP Rod bolts and ARP Head studs in every engine.
