Stage 2 camshaft – 6.0 & 6.4 Powerstroke engines

Asheville Engine, Inc.  is the leading independent Ford Powerstroke engine builder in the United States.  We have two different Stage 2 camshaft offerings for the 6.0 and the 6.4 Powerstroke engines.

During our years in business, we designed our own Stage 2 camshaft. Our custom built Billet Stage 2 camshaft lowers EGTs, spools the turbo quicker and increases fuel efficiency.  Because of it’s design, it also adds approximately 45 additional horsepower to a 6.0 Powerstroke.  It is also much gentler on the valve train than a stock cam.  We’ve installed approximately 800 of these Stage 2 camshafts over the past three years and every customer loves them. What they love most is getting more performance and more miles per gallon!

We sell our Asheville Engine Stage 2 cam for $800.00 which includes sales tax and shipping to anywhere in the continental U.S.

Wanting more performance?

A step up from our own Stage 2 camshaft on a performance level is the Straub Technologies Stage 2 cam.  Although this cam is very similar to the Asheville Engine Stage 2 but Straub Technologies changed the lobe separation to get a little bit more performance.  As a result, Straub cam is best for use in racing where a small percentage can make the difference between winning and coming in third.  Comparatively, it’s not worth the extra money if you don’t care about going a tenth of a second quicker in 1/4 mile.  Asheville Engine retails this Straub Technologies Stage 2 cam for $995.00 shipped.

Doing your own engine build?

Both our Asheville Engine Stage 2 camshaft and the Straub cam can be purchased on our website.
