6.4 International Maxxforce 7 engines.

Asheville Engine is now offering reman 6.4 Maxxforce 7 short blocks and long blocks built in house. These engines are assembled with polished and OEM balanced cranks, new lifters, pistons and rings, new main bearings, rod bearings, reman rods, and cam bearings. All engines will come with a 12-month limited parts warranty.

What should you do when installing short block or long block 6.4 Maxxforce engines?

* When installing a 6.4 short block or a long block, we highly recommend that you also replace the entire fuel system.  The 6.4 International Maxxforce 7 engines are well known to have fuel system issues so it’s in your best interest to do this. Engine failures due to galled or melted pistons due to fuel system issues in our in-house builds are not covered under our warranty, as we do not install any fuel system components.
